작가노트
현대 사회의 사회문화적 현상들에 대한 나는 관심을 가지고 작업을 진행한다. 사회구성원간의 관계에서 발생하는 소통의 가능성을 탐구하고, 개인과 사회에서 발생하는 다양한 동시대의 담론들을 시각언어로 담아내고자 한다.
이번 전시에서는 모순적이고도 모호한 현대사회의 자가당착적인 정치, 사회, 문화 현상들을 은유와 냉소의 시각으로 재해석하여 다변적인 매체로 이루어지는 시각 예술의 형태로 새롭게 재현하게 된다.
Artist’s Writing
I am creating my works with my interest in socio-cultural phenomena of the modern society.
I would like to seek the possibility of communications in the relationships among members of society, and to describe the contemporary discourses of individuals and society with visual language.
By re-interpreting self-contradictory politics, society, and cultural phenomena, which ironic and ambiguous modern society pertains, with a cynical perspective, I have endeavored to represent it in the form of visual arts which can be created with multilateral media. |
